Sims 2 Nannies: Who’s Best?
I ran across this post on the Livejournal Sims 2 board:
After using a Nanny in the game for my babies/toddlers, I’ve noticed a lot of the time that they pretty much suck at their job.
Had a toddler that was close to collapsing so the Nanny strapped her into a highchair and fed the poor kid baby food-dumbass! The nanny now wonders why the kid wont let her touch her.
So what are your horror stories, and is there an actual nanny NPC that doesn’t suck?
I’ve actually been having a lot of problems lately with my nannies. I’ll schedule them to follow my schedule but they usually don’t show up in time or show up at a completely wrong time. It’s really annoying. Oh and once they left while I was at work so my kid was taken away!

my baby was left on the floor until my sim came home. stupid nanny started playin the guitar

Yer my babys nanny put the baby on the floor and started making food and left it on the cooker with the baby next to it

The stupid nanny i paid for to come EVERYDAY because i had a toddler with a single mom (Father Died)n her mom was working from 8:00am-15:00pm The nanny came 1 day and the mom came home and found her there she dismissed the nanny and the nanny stayed till 3:00am and when my sim left for work the nanny didnt come so my toddler got taken by the social worker :( *dum nanny*

my sim had a nanny for their daugther but she only came for 3 days and lefted the baby on the floor and also broke the toliet so one day when the sim came home, she found the nanny gone and the kid wastaken from the social worker

I fired my nanny and I guess she was a little upset with my sim so right in front of the mom sim she kidnapped the baby. I couldn’t do anything about it. I clicked on her but there were no actions available. I didn’t save, but when I went back I sim vac her!
