Happy Valentine’s Day!
Hey Sims lovers! Happy Valentine’s Day! This week there sadly won’t be an installment of America’s Next Top Sim Model because my computer is in the shop…but I should have it back next week. Meanwhile I’m playing the original sims on my old laptop and GEEZ I forgot how different it is!
My poor Sims almost died because I couldn’t remember that you need to have lots of cooking knowledge in order to cook real food…and I got the The Sims Superstar Expansion Pack and it took me a while to figure out how to earn money as a star…It’s kind of cute how you have to be a starving artist literally for awhile to make it in show biz in this original Sims expansion pack. You have to do open mic nights for $10/shot!
Anyway, I’m excited because I got the The Sims: Complete Collection which includes all the expansion packs, so i’m excited to see all the new features and remind myself of older ones. It’s actually really cheap right now to get the whole shebang of the original Sims. Back in the day I think I paid $38 for the Hot Date expansion pack, and now you can get the original the Sims and all the expansion packs for only $36 on Amazon. Check it out:

My mother bought us that not long after it came out. It is a great collection to have! I love the sims and think that releasing a “complete” collection was a great way for them to keep up sales on the previous version without outshining the present.
They know what they are doing :P
