Sim Vampires!
One of the neatest aspects of the Sims 2 Nightlife is the new Vampire feature! Ever since I saw the preview of Nightlife on the back of my Sims 2 University expasion pack (it’s a picture of a sim vampire) I wanted to control a vampire.
Being a Vampire is really neat, (Leora Sim was bitten last night) but it also has it’s difficulties.
Here are some pros and cons to being a vampire in the Sims 2 Nightlife:
Pros:
-You can fly!!! (You turn into a bat and can get places faster than walking)
-your moods don’t go down while it’s night time or if you’re in your coffin
-you never age
Cons:
-You can’t go out during the day (which can be difficult if you have a job)
-Your mood goes down really quickly if you’re awake during the day, even if you take all your windows out of your house…
I found this guide to being a vampire on the Sims webpage. It has tips that actually work that make being an employed vampire possible:
Making Money
There are two ways to make money as a vampire: attempt to keep your job, and make money in alternative ways.
First, consider keeping your job. This is difficult to do, since most shifts occur during the day, but this is the most stable form of income. If you want to keep a job and follow a career, the tips below can mean the difference between a raise and the reaper.

Get to car/carpool as quickly as possible to limit sun exposure and falling moods.

Keep your coffin on the street level of your house (if you house is multiple stories). This allows you to get to the carpool faster.

If you own a car, assign it to your Sim vampire. Consider building a garage that houses not only the car, but your coffin. This allows the fastest access to your car when leaving for work

Consider your career path. Some paths have shorter shifts, and/or more night shifts.

If your shift ends before 7pm, run back to your coffin!

Get your moods up as quickly as you can when you awake in the evening. Since your moods don’t decrease at night, skilling and socializing is much easier (and you have more time to focus on it).
If keeping a job is too difficult, or it’s just not in your vampire’s style to keep a day job, there are other ways to make money at home and on community lots. Check out the examples below for a few ways to make Simoleons.

Sell paintings.

Get your Creativity up to maximum, paint using the easel, and then sell your paintings. High Creativity paintings can sell for a lot of money.

Perform.

Build a community lot with a lot of instruments. Get your Creativity up to maximum and Perform. This will allow you to get Tips. The higher your Creativity, the more Sims will tip you. If all the instruments are taken by NPCs when you get there, Freestyle for Tips!

Use Career Reward objects.

If you’ve kept a career long enough to earn a Career Reward object, it may be used to generate income. Only some Career Reward objects allow you to make money (the Slacker and Chef objects, for example), so plan ahead!

Grow or print your own Simoleons!

If you have enough Aspiration points, you can buy Money Trees or a Counterfeiting Machine. Only use these objects when you have a high Aspiration level (Gold or Platinum), otherwise you may lose money, or (worse yet) attract the attention of the police! From the Sims 2

I have the sims 2 nightlife…but i cant find any vampires! believe me, ive looked and waited, and had my sims stay up all night outside, or downtown…but no vamps! i wana control a simvamp 2, or at least have one make one of my sims one.
um, question…can vampsims still have children?

Also, to get money you can hold down ctrl and the button above it( left hand side! )and then press c. when you get a long white strip at the top of your screen, type in: motherlode. you will get
50,000 every time you do it!

The vampires are NPCs that show up somewhat rarely on community lots (possibly only Downtown, I’m not sure) at night. They are called Count or Countess and stalk around looking vampiric. You generally need to befriend one to have them bite you or another Sim. You can talk to them to get your relationship score up high enough to invite them to your house at night and become friends.
Yes, vampires can have children; the children are not vampires but can be bitten once they become teenagers.

how do you get your sim to be a vampire i tried killing a sim to see if the grim reaper would turn her into a vampire but no she just dies and i tried one of my sims kissing a vampire but nothing???

it well cool controlling a vampsim. here is a cheat to make your sim a vampire. hold shift and press ctrl + c then type boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true then hold shift AND click on the mailbox and press make me know everyone then call a vamp and invite the vamp over at nite AND then hold shift and click on your sim then press more then press spawn then press more and click on sim modder then press relationships then click on me 2 other press on vampire name hates then press other 2 me then click vamp name hates wait to get bitten or click on he sim modder press vampire then click make me and ta da . even no it was llong it works.

Yeah! You can get bitten by choosing influence to
“Bite Neck” find male or female vampire.I think the can be at cool issue clothing during the night.you
can get bitten when you become friends with the vampires.If your sim have a vampire friend.You can invite vampire sim to your house at night.Then you can get bitten.

Your sim can get bitten by making the high relationship with Vampires.If your sim has become friend with vampire.Invite the vampire to your house.Your sim will get bitten.
